"Spring Flowers Looked Great"
Uh, the flowers looked really great this spring. Everything seemed bright and fresh, and it made the place feel so much nicer

"Nice garden, but the event was a mess"
I went for a special event and it felt unorganized. The lines were way too long, the staff seemed confused, and no one really explained what was going on. On top of that, it felt like the terms or details kept changing from what was originally advertised, which was frustrating. The garden itself is beautiful, but the event definitely wasn’t worth the price.

"Great staff, just caught it at the wrong time"
We had a really nice visit overall, mostly because the staff were so friendly. Everyone we asked for help was kind and didn’t make us feel rushed at all. Even the tram driver was easygoing and funny, which made the day feel more relaxed. If anything wasn’t perfect, I’d blame our timing more than the place itself. It still turned out to be a really pleasant day.

"I stopped in and the restrooms were…"
I stopped in and the restrooms were way better than I expected, super clean, fully stocked, and there wasn’t any weird smell or anything like that, which is always a relief

"Not Too Crowded at First Glance"
My quick take: the crowds were manageable overall. I expected it to feel way more packed, but it was easy enough to get around without feeling overwhelmed
"I had a nice time walking around the…"
I had a nice time walking around the garden, and some areas really are beautiful. It’s a peaceful spot for a slow afternoon if you just want to wander and relax. That said, it did feel a bit uneven overall, like some parts were clearly better cared for than others. For a place people come to enjoy and probably pay to visit, I do think it’s only fair that the whole garden gets the same level of attention. Still, it’s a decent place to spend some quiet time

"Pretty garden, but the tram felt a bit rushed"
We stopped by for the tram tour after lunch since we were already in the area and had some time to kill. The garden itself was really pretty, and it was nice to just sit and ride through it, especially since I had been walking around in not-great shoes all morning. That said, the tour felt a little rushed, and there were a few times I couldn’t really hear what the guide was saying. It was still an okay visit overall, but I expected a bit more.

"Pretty Spot for a Wedding"
I went here for a friend’s wedding and the garden was really pretty. The staff were nice, and everything seemed to run smoothly throughout the event. Parking was a little confusing when we first got there, but once we figured it out, it was fine. Overall, it was a really nice experience and such a lovely place for photos. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a charming wedding venue.

"Plenty of Restrooms Around"
Maybe it’s just me because I always end up needing a bathroom at the worst times, but I really appreciated that there were plenty of restrooms available. It made the whole visit a lot more comfortable and stress-free...

"Beautiful gardens, but the cafe needs some attention"
We visited Norfolk Botanical Garden and had a really nice day overall. The gardens are beautiful and it’s a great place to walk around and relax. That said, the food and drink options were disappointing. We were able to grab snacks and drinks, but the selection felt really limited, nothing stood out, and the prices seemed high for what we got. I don’t mind paying a bit more at a place like this, but I do think they should be more accountable for offering better quality and variety if they’re going to charge those prices. It’s fine for a quick bite or coffee, but next time I’d probably bring my own food if that’s allowed. The garden itself is absolutely worth visiting, I just hope they improve the cafe situation.

"A Family Day Out With a Few Tiny Plot Twists"
Took the kids here it turned into a whole little adventure. There was so much room to wander, the gardens were really pretty, and the tram basically saved the day once the kids’ legs decided they were done with the journey. Overall, it felt super family friendly and easy to enjoy. The only things keeping it from 5 stars were the food lines, which moved like we were waiting for the final scene of a movie, and the parking situation, which was a bit chaotic. Still, we had a really nice time.

"I found the tickets and hours pretty…"
I found the tickets and hours fast, so that wasn’t no big hassle. A couple of pages did feel a little cluttered, but overall it was easy enough to get what I needed.

"Relaxing Visit with Plenty of Places to Rest"
I visited Norfolk Botanical Garden on a warm day, i was glad to see there were plenty of benches around when we needed to take a break. It’s a big place, so I think it’s fair to say the heat could have made the visit tiring, but the shady paths and rest spots really helped balance that out. We never felt rushed and could just wander, sit for a bit, and enjoy the scenery. Overall, it was a really nice, relaxing visit.

"Super clean and really relaxing"
Went to Norfolk Botanical Garden last weekend and the first thing I noticed was how clean it all was. The paths were clear, no trash laying around, and the flower beds looked really well taken care of. Even the bathrooms and picnic spots were in good shape, which I always appreciate lol. You can tell the staff actually keeps up with everything. Made the whole walk feel way more relaxing. Easy 5 stars from me.

"Nice overall, just a bit short"
I enjoyed it overall and thought it was nice, but it did feel a little shorter than I was expecting. Still a good experience, just wish there had been a bit more to it.

"Nice, Nice Trails"
Really nice trails overall. There were a few muddy spots here and there after the rain, but nothing too bad. Still had a good, good time walking around.

"I’ve visited Norfolk Botanical Garden a few times..."
I’ve visited Norfolk Botanical Garden a few times now, and every time I’m genuinely impressed by how well everything is looked after. The paths are clean, the plants look healthy, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the place so beautiful.
Even after what seemed like a busy weekend, the garden didn’t feel messy or neglected at all. The flower beds were neatly trimmed, there wasn’t trash lying around, and that kind of attention to detail really makes a difference.
I’m grateful to the maintenance team for all the work they do behind the scenes. It makes the whole visit feel peaceful and relaxing, and it’s one of the reasons I always enjoy coming back.

"Great spot for flower photos"
I ended up getting so many nice flower shots here. If you’re into taking pictures or just enjoy garden views, it’s definitely worth stopping by. I’d say it’s especially nice when the flowers are in bloom.

"Great Birdwatching, Just a Bit Crowded"
I saw so many birds during my visit, which was the highlight for me. The trails were nice, but they did get a little crowded at times, so it wasn’t quite as peaceful as I’d hoped. Still, being able to watch all those birds made the trip feel really special, and I left feeling happy I went

"Visited Norfolk Botanical Garden last weekend and had…"
Visited Norfolk Botanical Garden last weekend and had a really nice time. The staff were probably the highlight for me. They clearly knew their stuff about the plants, but explained things in a simple, helpful way instead of turning it into a long lecture. One person helped us figure out the best paths to take and pointed out a few blooms we probably would’ve missed otherwise. Parking was a little slow, which is the only reason I’d give it 4 stars, but if you’re spending time at a botanical garden, having knowledgeable staff really does make a difference.
